As we all know, 17 year old bag boys at Publix are all in the know of what’s in the height of fashion. Which is why my review today features a design by Swim and Resortwear designer Lisa Kaminski. We’ll get back to previously referred to bag boy, but let me begin with my LK experience.

I’ve seen Lisa’s work for several years now featured in many editorial campaigns as well as highlighted on the runway at Jacksonville Fashion Week, which I most recently had the honor of Co-hosting. Her swimwear is truly stunning, crafted with artistic inspiration, and the highest standards of quality. All of Lisa’s designs are made by hand in small runs which means they are highly collectible. Not only is Lisa’s work top notch, she also believes in giving back. She dedicates the proceeds of a canine inspired design each season to the ASPCA. Her smile is riveting and her energy brightens up any room. Recently I was asked to host a fashion show for my friends at RIO Hair Studio of Tapestry Park in Jacksonville, FL. Lisa’s designs were being showcased, and I was thrilled to wear one of Lisa’s designs, the Portofino Maxi dress.
Though I was under the weather my spirits were high the day of the event. Everywhere I went I was met with ohhs and ahhs from people stunned by this fantastic garment. The fabric was light and perfect for summer, but what impressed me most were the lines. Lisa did a perfect job with artistically placing the print on this design so its the most form flattering and elongating. From every angle you are visually inspired and the bold colors worked great not only for the event but also on my complexion. The best thing about this dress however, was that from front to back there is always something to look at. The Portofino does all that without being out of balance. Well done Lisa K!
Later that evening on my return home from the event I made a stop at Publix. Still feeling under the weather I took the offered help from the friendly bag boy. At first site of the empty car seat in the back he flattered me with “Your a MOM?!”. When I acknowledged that yes indeed I have a little girl he said, “Well you look great for a mom.” After my grateful thanks, he then assured me “Well you are one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen.”
Oh Lisa! Thank you for letting me sport the Portofino around. I don’t believe I’ve ever worn a dress that received so many compliments. For all you looking for a show stopper, “Most Beautiful Woman I’ve Ever Seen” dress, Lisa Kaminski may have just the thing. You can find her designs online at www.lisakaminski.com , at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, FL (the resort was also featured on Episode 3 of LLWN), or at Gwen Berlin Boutique in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl.
You can certainly look for Lisa’s designs on the show, to be featured very soon!
