For those of you who follow on instagram you may have already seen this suggestion, but it’s so good I had to share it with the rest of you. Generally I’m a dry white, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc kinda girl… however, one day while sauntering through Publix, lightning struck. I chose something new… Maybe it was the label. Maybe it was its top shelf prime real estate placement. Whatever the reason I chose that moment to veer from my normal course and pick up Naked Unoaked Chardonnay.

This bottle does not disappoint. It has all the warmth and butter you come to expect from a chardonnay, yet doesn’t overwhelm you with the usual overbearing oakiness, and sugary after bite that has become more popular in the last decade. Fresh, lemony, and crisp, this is a chardonnay for Pinot Grigio and Sauv Blanc lovers like myself. It’s been on our grocery list for a month now and will certainly be a fav for some time to come. Try it with some grilled chicken or a heartier plate of fresh, seasonal Sockeye Salmon.
