Cookeville,TN Photo Tour – Monday Recap
To round off our week of fall fun in Tennessee I wanted to share with you all some images a little closer to David’s family home in Sparta, TN including Cookeville and the surrounding area. This college town is packed full of charming shops, and coffee shops inviting you to take a stroll around and taste it’s traditional fare.
Munchkin leading the way on our adventure of the day.
Like our trip to VA, TN has some great rail to trail parks including this one.
David filming munchkins first short film.

Lonely girl?
Leaves and boots!
Dogwood Park in Cookeville, also a perfect splash park.
A few moments of R&R
Cookeville by night is also full of charms.
Cream City is a Cookeville Landmark. I loved this authentic neon sign.

Ralph’s Donuts. Exactly the same for over 30 + years.
On our last day we enjoyed a trip to Organic Farming project Waters Farm for a field day. They had a bonfire, hayrides, music, and great presentations of pottery making, and iron working. I had a special interest learning about organic farming during our tour.
Pumpkin painting on Waters Farm.
Fall wouldn’t be complete without a hayride!
Fun with the Lil
Waters Farm is a completely organic farm. We enjoyed learning more about the farming project during the field day.

My brother in law Josh showing us his black smith skills.
Not all who wander are lost.

It was a full week filled with tons of fun. I’m looking forward to our next adventure but certainly happy to be back home for now.

Enjoy the Journey!
