The sun is sinking in the sky and the breeze is picking up. It might still be in the 80’s in Florida, but we can tell fall has arrived. I’ve mentioned the unique way we Floridians adjust to the new season before, but I never tire of sporting new fall transitional styles. With the help of Free People and Little Edge Threads, the girls and I have launched the new season in style. Here are a few of our favorite looks.
The girls are ready for school in their new edgy styles from Little Edge Threads. Sienna is absolutely smitten with her ruffled trimmed top and gingham pencil skirt. Her first words were how she loved how fitted the skirt was. As she is maturing she requests more clothing that is fitted and flattering instead of just loose flowy styles. Little Edge Threads delivers with fashions for the mini maven.
Meanwhile I was swooning over London in this casual get up. Her tiny top is literally a shrunken version of a top I would totally wear, and her little harem pants are as stylish as they are comfy. Seriously I wish they had these in my size. She had so much fun running and playing during this shoot (thus the red face in a few of the pics). It proves however, that kids clothes can be funky and functional! Forget basic!

When I saw this flowy Maxi from Free People I absolutely could not resist. The price was reasonable coming in under $100 at just $88, and the comfy fabric makes it lounge worthy, while the cut creates a silhouette worth dressing up. So many compliments on this one, and I love that the slit in the leg provides plenty of air for those hot Florida fall days. Plenty of compliments on this one, it’s definitely my new fall favorite.
My girls are active so it’s important to me to have clothing I find as stylish as it is practical for keeping up with their busy demands. These selections are perfect for our lifestyle and great staples to add to your wardrobe.
