Let’s Rock Some Holiday (Up)Dos – Tuesday Tips
It’s my goal to always keep you up to date on the latest in fashion and beauty trends. With the holiday’s quickly approaching I asked my expert stylist and owner of Rio Hair Studio, Misty Burbridge, to give us the scoop on what’s hot for the season.
Let’s Rock Some Holiday Dos and let go of the Holiday Blues
Special Occasion Hair used to be just for Brides or Prom attendees, however times are changing with the opening of “Blow Dry Bars” and salons specializing in giving you that professional style.  These days hair can become a statement of your personality the same way your shoes show those who dare to look, just how fashionable you really are.
Whether your style is feminine, flirty, tough, independent, rebellious or strong, let a stylist set the mood for you through your hair.
This type of style could take 1 to 1 ½ hours to create. Prices will vary depending on the area, expertise, and time involved.  Make no mistake though, this is an investment as your fashionable locks will feel the love for days with compliments from all your friends.
Whether you create an updo or increase the length and thickness with clip in extentions, you will be amazed how exciting the transformation can be with even a small change.
We at Rio Charge $65 and up for and updo, and extentions run $200 and up depending on the work involved.

Thanks Misty for keeping us on the forefront of what’s on trend. I personally love the retro feel of going to get your hair done for special events or the week. It reminds me of times gone by when getting your hair “set” for the week was as important as that well maintained manicure. For more from Misty check out her most recent contribution to the A-list
Enjoy the Journey!
