When it comes to food, flavor rules, but quality and technique are also huge in my book. Don’t get me wrong, I can totally get down with a classic casserole or homestyle dish, but if I had my druthers, it’s likely to involve inspired fare, prepared with intention and finesse. I subscribe to the European philosophy of slow dining. To me, dining out is an event. One I prefer to enjoy with great friends at a captivating location, topped off with imaginative dishes and flavorful beverages. Lately, that journey has lead me repeatedly to one of my favorite North Florida hidden gems, 3 Palms Grille. I’ve covered this restaurant in the past, but in the last year they have simply outdone themselves over and over, prompting me to show off once again, a few of my favorite new dishes.
Although this review was a compensated collaboration between 3 Palms Grille and myself. All opinions are 100% my own.

A Hidden Gem From
the Minds of the Region’s Top Restauranteurs
I’ve run into more than a few dedicated foodies who still haven’t had the pleasure of dining at 3 Palms Grille. The reason? It’s located behind the gates of Sawgrass Country Club making it less visible to the public. Although they may not be as visible as some, access is still wide open for the public. This is kind of fun in my opinion. Parking is not an issues, and if you really want to delight a friend or date, take them to this fun “secret” location they might not have known existed prior. There is a feeling of exclusivity and privacy that’s sure to impress. 3 Palms Grille was conceptualized by the restauranteurs behind Caps on the Water and Eleven South Bistro & Bar. Both are top restaurants in the region who have inspired and impressed with their award winning fare for years. 3 Palms is no exception, with it’s contemporary atmosphere, and large open patio that looks over the Oak Bridge golf course.

Best Al Fresco Dining in North Florida
One of if not the best al fresco dining destinations in the region, 3 Palms Grille enjoys a California inspired multi level dining space. The patio features a large gas fire pit that delights with exceptional sunset views over the golf course’s green space. It’s one of my favorite places to enjoy an evening full of friends and exceptional wine selected by one of the regions’ top Sommelier’s.
On the Menu: Watermelon Salad
Fine Dining for Families Too
Sound like just a date night spot? Think again. Situated in the heart of the Oakbridge neighborhood, 3 Palms Grille welcomes families as well. It’s the perfect location to let the kids run around on the green space in the evening (after golf course operating hours), while mom and dad relax around the fire pit. Kids will enjoy the flavorful dishes as much as parents, meanwhile dining outside (where noise level is less an issue) is always a refreshing alternative to keeping kids stuck inside a dining room.

Happy Hour Hot Spot – Make sure to hit up 3 Palms signature Happy Hour with single pour premium cocktails for $6, $1 off all beers, and $6 wines by the glass. Don’t miss the tasty bar menu, one of my favorite ways to enjoy their incredible selections at a great value.
Keeping it Fresh – Although like most restaurants, you’ll find staple menu items that never go away, one of the strengths of 3 Palms Grille is it’s seasonal offerings and specials.
